The MVME5100 series is the flagship of MOTOROLA's PowerPlus II VME architecture family, delivering supercompute-level performance in a single VMEbus slot. Based on the integrated PCI Bridge memory controller ASIC designed by MOTOROLA Computer Group, PowerPlu ll takes memory performance to the next level with memory read bandwidth of 582MB/s and burst write bandwidth of 64OMB/s. In addition, the PowerPlusI architecture supports a full PCI throughput of 264MB/s without depleting the processor's memory.

The extended temperature version of the MVME5100 series provides hardware and software compatible products to enhance existing MVME5100 products. The new version operates in a temperature range of -20° to 71 ° C, while the existing commercial version runs from 0° to 55° C. This temperature range is beneficial for Oems who need to extend the operating temperature of their equipment.
