The SAI143 analog input module can be installed on the field viewing control unit or the safety node unit for 4 to 20mA current input signals from the field instrument or valve positioner, HART communication function is optional. Three types of connection can be selected as pressure clamp, IMl continuous wave cable or special electrical system KS1, which enables dual redundant communication by installing two communication modules on the same unit. The HART Communication analog module with HART communication on ProS afe-RS allows the Factory Resource Manager (PRM) to manage HART communication devices connected to the input and output modules on SCS. In addition, the analog output module allows PRM customers to perform partial stroke testing (PST) on HART-supported valve positioners equipped with PST capabilities.
